Colour of the Year 2017

Last year, Rose Quartz & Serenity were the joint colour of the Year from Pantone, this year, it's gone back to mother nature and Greenery is the colour to go for.

"A refreshing and revitalizing shade, Greenery is symbolic of new beginnings."

With rustic, vintage, neutral and romance trends coming in hot again this year, it works perfectly for a wedding. You can style it any way you want to fit your theme, whilst keeping on trend.

So here's a few styling tips on how to fit Greenery in to a few different themes, to give you a head start on planning your decor!

Barn

Barn weddings have been popular for a couple of years now, but everyone is always thinking outside of the box for new ideas and new decor items to use,

Admit it, everyone loves a barn wedding, if it's the wrong time of year, it can be a bit chilly, but there's always a great atmosphere and you are pretty much let free to decorate where and what you want. As they're pretty basic rooms, even though there's a lot of character, there's a lot of space to fill, including high ceilings most of the time, so this is where hanging beauties come into the picture. It fills in the space above you to make the room feel more snug, and it looks dramatic yet beautiful (it's also all natural).

So from chandeliers to draping, here are my top 5 favourites.

Neutral

Keeping everything Neutral is a minimalist way to decorate your wedding. I think it's a great trend, it makes you really concentrate on the small details that would have other wise been missed. You tend to look at the texture and pattern on items rather than the colour, it brings everything down to earth. So here's a few little things that would make your theme that little bit more special.

Metallic

The metallic trend is so versatile, you can go down the route of industrial, glamour, vintage or just pure metallic. So many options! It's also super easy to pair with greenery ....
